Main Sewer Stoppages

When your main sewer is clogged, it is never at a convenient time. We often find it's a sign of a more significant issue.  At Red Fox, our mission is to get to the root of your issue on the first visit by using our camera equipment to diagnose and locate the problem areas so a game plan can be made to prevent future inconveniences.

Back-grading

Back-grading is an issue related to either improper bedding or installation of the piping that carries waste away from your home. This can either be low spots in the line creating pockets of water or "bellies" caused by improper backfilling to support the piping in the affected areas.  While back-grading can be an installation issue, it could often also be caused by natural settling of the structure. This would generally occur close to the foundation and often causes separations of the sewer connection at the foundation.

Root Intrusions

Contrary to what many people think, having tree roots in your sewer is not normal. Sewer installations should be watertight thus not allowing roots to be able to get into the piping. Having roots in your sewer line is a sure sign that there is a crack or separation in the drain that allows the roots to enter the line. Left unchecked, this can become a major issue as more and more roots are gravitating towards the affected area and will eventually get worse until the sewer becomes unusable. Red Fox Plumbing will take the time to figure out a practical solution to your issue to eliminate the issue permanently and can also offer a plan for maintenance of problem drains until more permanent solutions are feasible.
