About Red Fox Plumbing

Red Fox Plumbing began with a passion for solving problems and helping homeowners make informed decisions.

Before starting Red Fox Plumbing, I spent more than two decades in the skilled trades, beginning in electrical and HVAC before finding my true calling in plumbing. I quickly discovered that residential service plumbing was more than replacing parts—it was understanding how an entire plumbing system works, diagnosing problems accurately, and finding the best solution for each home. I became obsessed with learning, constantly researching unfamiliar situations and expanding my knowledge so I could confidently explain every option to my customers.

After years of working for larger plumbing companies, I decided it was time to build a company that reflected my own values. In August 2022, Red Fox Plumbing was born. I started in the Greensboro area, where I'd built my career, but just a few months later, in February 2023, I made the decision to relocate the business to the Charlotte area. It meant leaving behind the community and relationships I'd spent over 20 years building and starting over in a city where I knew almost no one.

Building a business from the ground up in a new city wasn't easy. I knocked on doors, introduced myself to other contractors, joined local networking groups, and worked hard to earn the trust of homeowners one customer at a time. Every recommendation, every referral, and every five-star review was earned through honest work and treating people the way I believe they should be treated.

In May 2024, my son Max joined me after moving from Ohio. What started as helping the business quickly became something much more. His willingness to learn, strong work ethic, and commitment to doing things the right way have become a huge part of who we are as a company. Every day he's growing into an exceptional plumber, and we're committed to making sure he develops the skills and experience to serve homeowners with the same level of professionalism and integrity.

Today, Red Fox Plumbing remains intentionally focused on quality over quantity. We aren't interested in becoming a company built around high-pressure sales or sending technicians whose primary goal is selling expensive repairs. Our job is to understand your plumbing problem, thoroughly evaluate what's happening, explain your options honestly, and perform the work with craftsmanship, professionalism, and respect for your home. We believe that trust is earned—not sold—and that's the standard we bring to every service call.
